Yay or Nay? Topshop 'Gasoline' Glitter Heels

My shoe shopping today has gone a bit like this: "Woah, Topshop has some really fugly shoes in stock right now, OH MY GOD HELL YES!"

The last time I wanted a pair of shoes so ridiculously amazing, it was these studded ballerina beauties that every man I know calls dinosaur shoes. These men know nothing. But I know that while these 'Gasoline' glitter heels will have some of you heading straight to Topshop in an epic shoe stampede, some of you will be staring at the screen thinking "God no, you've lost your mind, love."

They're always my favourite types of shoes.

They're suede, which I'm ignoring because that basically means muddy throughout the whole of winter and cleaning while tipsy at 1am. I can't not buy these. They're the glammest, tackiest things and they need to be on my feet for my birthday. They're only £55, which considering that your feet will look like they're on fire in glitter is a very reasonable price.

What say you? Go on, you get to tell me I've gone mad. I won't care, I'll have the amazing shoes of fire and glitter to distract me.

    1. Yeah, that's a fair comparison...

  2. (Obviously I am pro these shoes, because Liberace is my style icon.)

  3. Ha, this is clearly Topshop's 'interpretation' of the AMAZING Prada Hot Rod heels (e.g. http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/121005647576?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&cbt=y). And also quite amazing.

However, I clearly would fall over the second I put either brand anywhere near my feet. That's not a heel for clumsy people.

    1. Flames aside, I don't think they're that similar.

Worryingly, I've been looking at the heel and thinking it could stand to be a bit higher.

    2. You are a brave heel lady! In my head they are definitely called gasoline as you'd need to be driven round in them.

  4. These are the shoe version of the band Kiss.

  5. I think the more glitter the better! The sort of thing you could only wear a couple of times a year though. Are they suede where they aren't glitter?
