I got two Neutrogena ones, one SPF 50 for the face which is anti breakout (Clear Face) and then an aerosol SPF 70 Ultra Sheer body mist which was phenomenal considering the heat and strength of the sunlight. I wish I'd stocked up! I believe I'll be able to get them on Amazon, but it's a shame they're not more easily available.Carysnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1273652815577465353.post-9960770114382112882013-06-19T16:57:44.242+01:002013-06-19T16:57:44.242+01:00Lovely recommendations, thank you!Lovely recommendations, thank you!Kat - the tall onehttp://www.exoticmaypole.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1273652815577465353.post-56617849608683400182013-06-19T16:40:27.471+01:002013-06-19T16:40:27.471+01:00As a zitty middle-aged grump who has tried an awfu...As a zitty middle-aged grump who has tried an awful lot of suncreams and had breakouts or a face like an oil slick thanks to them, may I recommend Alpha H 50+ Essential daily moisturiser? It is approved by the great Caroline Hirons over on Beauty Mouth, as it protects against both UVA and UVB and while it's a bit spenny, you can just use it as a facial moisturiser and sunscreen combo. And I will also vouch for the Anthelios for not making you break out.

Final point: according to Mrs Hirons, one reason we get breakouts from sunscreen is because we're not cleansing properly at night. She says we have to really scrub the stuff off. I'm a slapdash slut, but I have been more careful about actually washing of an evening and I have to admit that I haven't had a breakout so far this summer. Dagnabit. Pesky hygiene wins again. In case you want to go read the hilariously frank Mrs Hirons, she's here: http://www.beautymouth.com/2013/04/spf-cheat-sheet.htmlBirdiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06031850587719361167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1273652815577465353.post-91541970626894820152013-06-19T16:26:47.219+01:002013-06-19T16:26:47.219+01:00Aldi skincare do a range of suncreams now and they...Aldi skincare do a range of suncreams now and they're half the price of even the half price boots ones. I only used the aerosol spray ones when I went away recenrly (because I'm super extra lazy) but given their moisturisers are so highly recommended by a lot of experts I reckon their creams should be good. I'm incredibly pale - rosy is not becoming. And so I turn to my trusty Ultrasun - it's spendy but you only need to put it on once a day, the face one is a good base for make-up and the bottles last 3 years compared to the usual 1.
