I have never tried lemon-sugar thing though or the American thing with syrup and bacon. Bacon and sweet syrup??? Really? <br />although we, Lithuanians, do make strange-sounding pancakes with herring fillet - those of course are NOT served with anything sweet on the side.. :) we also make pancakes from potatoes, they are of our national cuisine (sour-cream on the side or sometimes plum jam). Those could also be served with smoked salmon pieces and curd-garlic sauce (though I think this is not from the national cuisine) :)Thirteennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1273652815577465353.post-39659890863804262342010-02-16T17:14:16.717+00:002010-02-16T17:14:16.717+00:00Has to be the traditional lemon and sugar here - l...Has to be the traditional lemon and sugar here - lots and lots of lemon, too...Babshttp://www.barbarasaul.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1273652815577465353.post-34183346903304639812010-02-16T17:13:51.531+00:002010-02-16T17:13:51.531+00:00American style with blueberries, bacon and maple s...American style with blueberries, bacon and maple syrup for everyday, but for pancake day it has to be French-style crepe, thin pancakes.
