Etsy pick: Hemp birdy purse

This little birdy purse from Portemone is perfect and I can't believe it's handcrafted. But! It's made from hemp. I'm mighty impressed that something made from hemp can look as pretty as this. Most of the time it's tatty hippy stuff at festival. This is lovely. I want this.

Spare change: Leather Catkin Coin Purse

I love little purses. They're very ladylike. Of course, this one is a bit more jazzy than normal as it's silver leather, but the butterflies make it pretty. Each purse is screen printed individually so you'll always have a unique piece.

It's from the Catkin Collection and once I've forked out £30 for it, I won't have any coins left to put in it, but it's a rather a delicious irony, don't you think?
