Mirror Mirror... Amélie savon vintage style mirror

I have been coveting this Amélie mirror for so long now and think now may be the time I give in. I'm not sure exactly why I love it so much - something in the combination of the slight distress, the beautiful writing and the feeling that if I own it I will live a whimsical Parisian life like Amélie from Montmartre.

Surprisingly nice things from IKEA: Ektorp armchair

LOOK at this beauty. Can't you imagine curling up in it by a window on a cold rainy day, turning off your phone, making yourself a yard of tea and burying your nose in a book?

Yes, I know Ikea's living room furniture can be ratty, cheap and nasty, but I've been lusting after the Ektorp armchair for years. I can't allow myself to buy it until I follow through with the redecoration project I've been procrastinating over for the last few millenia.
