Etsy Pick: Found On The Beach

This gorgeous little charm is a great little moving in present. It's a dollhouse! It's only $15 from Found On The Beach.

Look! you can see inside too!

*Stunning.*

Cocktail Hour: Strawberry Daiquiri

There's something about slurping a strawberry daiquiri that just makes you feel like you're on a summer holiday somewhere sandy and exotic, slathered in sun cream next to a pool. And as the sun is shining (hooray!) it's time to put on your sunnies and lounge about in the garden.

Per daiquiri you'll need:

4-5 strawberries

1 shot white rum

2 tbsp sugar

1 shot strawberry liqueur (Bols will do, or anything equally syrupy and sugary)

1 tbsp lime juice

Blend all the above together, with ice if you want the mixture to go further. Add a cocktail umbrella, and you're set!

Design Porn: Rob Ryan

Is it possible to get excited by paper cutting (not to be confused with paper cuts, which are horrible)? I mean really really excited? Well, whenever I see Rob Ryan's work I get giddy. It's stunning, poignant and sooooo pretty. The guy has his own Columbia Road shop, and he's cool enough to have done a collaboration with Tatty Devine. Only cool people get to be friends with Tatty Devine. He's cool.

Etsy Pick: Cute Teardrop Coasters from ZakkaArt

Look how gorgeous these tear drop coasters are! They're handmade from lovely fabrics and perfect for little china tea cups. Loving the lace details too. They're only $6.00 from zakkaArt, and there's just a $4.00 postage charge to ship them to the UK. Bet you want to have an afternoon tea party now, don't you?

Seven Deadly Sins: Greed - Dollar Money Box from Dwell

I hate to mention the 'credit crunch' but I've spent too much money on trinkets and cocktails this year already. I need to start saving if I'm going to have any chance of a fabulous beach holiday in a retro bikini.

So I'm investing in this Dwell money box. The fact that it's £20 smacks of irony, but I kinda like that. It's very Donald Trump, no?

Pretty milk jug

I'm not very good at eating breakfast. Rubbish at it, in fact. Unless someone makes it for me of course, and then I'm aaaaaaaall for eating eggs Benedict and yummy smoothies. But, I came across this lovely milk jug at Of Cabbages & Kings a little while ago. The Guardian had one in last week too. It looks like a pint of milk! But it's pretty! Sometimes the simple ideas are the best.

It's £49 which is quite pricey for a jug, but breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right?

Cupboard Lust: The Giant Cupcake Tin

Here at Domestic Sluttery we have something of a fetish for confectionery of all kinds. And cupcakes are no exception. We might even go as far as to say that a damn good cupcake is the pinnacle of all treats that involve sugar, sprinkles or cream. And whilst we love the cutesy mini-cupcakes that the folks at Crumbs and Doilies do so well, all ladies know that sometimes only a mammoth mouthful will do. Which is why I’m lusting over this giant cupcake tin from Firebox. Fill both halves of this whopping non-stick pan with sponge mixture (or whatever else takes your fancy), cook and then glue the two halves together with cream, icing or jam and decorate with whatever gloriously unhealthy ingredients you have to hand. And, if you’re enamoured with idea of scaled-up celebrations and oversized cake paraphernalia, you could even add this jumbo birthday candle. Perfect for parties, and no-one will ever question you again when you say that size matters.
