Shop in the spotlight: David Redman

David Redman is full of stunning glassware. Perfect for all of those posh cocktail parties that... I don't have. Still, I can look at the website and marvel at how pretty everything is. But mainly, how pretty these things are:

These champagne glasses are sooooo pretty.

And they match this rather stunning decanter as well.

I know it's £595 but this is the sexiest cocktail shaker ever.

The most fascinating fascinators

Last night, I found myself on a hen-do (I'll admit it, I gatecrashed). Before I knew it I was dolled up and covered in glitter with a little fascinator hat perched on top of my head. I want a fascinator! I want all the fascinators! We've already told you where you can make one but here's my pick of the best fascinators around:

This one is £24 from Accessorize. It's fancy.

Ooooh hello! This is like the one I was wearing last night. Might have to get me one from Etsy seller YJPaw.

This one is really unique. It looks very vintage, but actually, it's in the sale at ASOS and it's £10. Bargain.

I might never leave the house without a fascinator now. I will be overdressed always.

Shop in the spotlight: La Maison Couture

La Maision Couture might just be the best new find this year. That's right. This whole year. It's a bit like an upscale MyDeco. Very swanky it is too! You can't buy anything there, but it'll point you in the direction of some rather lovely websites. Everything is split into rooms which is a cute touch. Here's some pretty things I'm coveting as a result:

I really really want this dressing table from Brissi.

This pasta bowl is really really cool. The same can't be said for the Bodo Sperlien website.

These surreal Couture Lab glasses are very lovely indeed.

Summer-must have? The humble umbrella.ella.ella.

Well it looks like Summer's must-have accessory is......the brolly. It's quite depressing isn't it! Most of us end up owning brollies after we get caught out and then have to run into the nearest Boots and end up snaffling the closest black umbrella shaped object we can find (whilst simultaneously tying to avoid those hideous Winnie the Pooh or Disney ones they smuggle in amongst the plain black ones). Whilst we all know that black is a wardrobe staple; goes with anything, slimming, yada yada yada...do we really need to all get black brollies? I quite fancy this ironic little number, yours from Umbrella Art for £17.99.

Fancy going a bit more high fashion? Then for just £10 you can get your very own limited edition Eley Kishimoto iconic 'flash' print umbrella!

However I think my own personal favourite, and perfect for 'summer rain' is going to be courtesy of our friends at Cath Kidston. This jolly brolly is £20 and I think it's blooming ace!

More beneath the surface

I stumbled across Surface View in the latest Elle Decoration and I'm impressed. They specialise in unique and customised murals. If you've got something outlandish you want on your wall, they're the people you want to go to. Comic strips? The earth from space? Anything you want! Of course, bespoke services don't come cheap, but they all sell a variety of prints as well. My favourite is this reproduced vintage wedding photo. Perfect if you're looking for something a little more exciting than dull ol' wallpaper.

Key player

Finally! A key I won't lose after a night of cocktails. This one won't open any doors though. It's from a new range at Tiffany and I'd expect them to fly out the door pretty sharpish. This one is £135, but there's loads to choose from. Even a platinum and diamond one if you have an extra £5000 to spend. But, I think I prefer the simplicity of this one.

Very nice dresses

I'm not normally one to jump on the latest fad bandwagon but if, like me, you consume magazines at the same rate you do chocolate, you'll have spotted a lot of PR around the new website Very. I was sent one of their doorstop-esque catalogues last week and was actually a little bit impressed. I REALLY WANT THIS DRESS. It's £49 and is part of the Holly Willoughby range. There is also a rather fabulously spangle-tastic bustier in the range too.

They also have some rather fab designers there too, like Preen (I love this dress too, but not as much as the red one), and absolute stunners like this one by Jasmine Guinness. Which, I am sure you'll agree, means we can overlook the whole Peaches Geldof thing.
