Green Fingers: Wall Mounted Herb Rack

I dream of having a proper garden, but count myself lucky to have a balcony as part of my very urban flat and this rack will fit perfectly out there. I suspect it's not herb growing weather right now, but wouldn't this look pretty filled with winter pansies until the warmer months?

Available from Swings and Pretty Things, for £29.95. Roll on my mint crop for home-mixed mojitos this summer...

Shoe Porn: Silver peep-toes from Anusha

This shoes are fabulous. Instead of being too girly, the chunky heel and platform gives them a bit of an edge and I'm head over (high) heels. These peep-toes from Anusha are perfect for all the wintery parties coming up. The ruffle is still feminine, but they won't make you look like a little girl playing dress-up. That's never a good look. They're £65 and I shall be wearing them to all festivities for the rest of the year.

Design Porn: Coffee Face Print by Emma Block

I bought this coffee print a little while ago, and it's oh-so-pretty. It's a print of an original design by Emma Block and was originally drawn in coffee which is such a unique idea. Spill coffee, make some lovely artwork! Of course, if I tried it wouldn't look nearly this pretty, so instead this one will adorn my bedroom wall. The print is $18 on Etsy but Emma is UK based so postage will only cost you $2.

In fact, they're offering Domestic Sluttery readers £2000 worth of vouchers! Yay! Free stuff for you! The shop is full of little trinkets and smelly things. Really cute girly stuff you're definitely going to want. Just look at some of the stuff you can buy!

This teapot is only £12.99!

And these pretty perfume bottles are just £23.99 - even cheaper with your £10 voucher of goodness.

So what do you have to do to get your £10 voucher? Just pop over here and fill out the little form! That's it! There's no minimum spend, no catch, although the nice Wysteria Lane Ladies might send emails about really really pretty things. Once you've filled out your details, wait for the nice ladies to process all of the voucher codes and then get spending! But really, there's no strings. Just go shopping! There's only 200 for Domestic Sluttery readers so if you want to get your mits on one you better hurry! And if you try signing up for many and using them all in the same order, Wisteria Lane will know and your vouchers won't count! We might spend them ourselves if you do that. That'll teach you. So you have to share, OK?

And make sure you come back and tell us what you bought. I've got my eyes on these Cowshed travel candles. Happy shopping everyone!

Cocktail Hour: Lychee Martini

I've been searching for a decent lychee martini recipe for a while. It's not that the ones I've found aren't very good, but it's more that they're have lychee liqueur in them, and that's not the easiest thing to find. And unless you're really a fan of them, you'll find yourself with a bottle of booze that you have no idea what to do with. And then you'll put it in one of those "what happens if I mix these spirits together?" cocktails. And the less said about those the better.

So this cocktail just has lychee juice in it instead, which works just fine and is much cheaper. Use the best quality vodka you can find and it'll taste yummy.

You'll need these things:
  • 50ml Vodka
  • 25ml lychee juice (you can use the juice from a can of lychees)
  • 1 lychee for garnish
  • Ice
Make it!

Shake everything with ice in a cocktail shaker. Then strain and pour into a martini glass. Pop a lychee on top of the drink to look pretty. The sit back, drink all your vodka and eat all of the lychees. The vodka should last as long as the can of lychees does. I think that's called fate.

Dream Dress from Jovonna

I'm powerless before a shift dress. There's something about the shape that draws me back in every single time I look in my wardrobe. There's isn't an occasion that doesn't suit a shift dress and my dress collection is full of them. But I don't have a bright pink one. And I don't have one with shiny gold buttons. So I simply must have this bright pink shift dress with shiny gold buttons. It's from Jovonna and it's £60.

David Wright Pin-up Mirrors at Pandora's Choice

I've been looking for a retro pin-up compact for months now. But not one that says something annoying like "I like boys and shoes and I don't have a brain" on it or some other 50s nonsense. The dumbing down thing is not cool. But then I stumbled across these retro pin-up mirrors over at Pandora's Choice and they're perfect. They're only £6.99 each too.

OK, so this one does have writing on it, but it's cute.

And this one is very sexy.

This one is my favourite. See? Not a tacky slogan in sight.
