Dream Dress: Floaty Florals

Whenever I think of floral prints in sunshine, I imagine Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada shooting someone a withering look. 'Florals for spring... how original'. The woman has a point. But there's always an exception to the rule, and I think this Full Circle floral dress is it.

I've been getting into the whole midi-length thing recently (by 'getting into' I mean 'I bought one dress'), and it's a fantastic length. Somehow leg-lengthening, but also handy on days when you're a bit stubbly. They're excellent for accidentally staying out all night.

I love this dress so much. The Monet-ish print is gorge and the side splits add a little bit of sexiness. You need something with a midi dress, otherwise they're a bit frumpy. This has sex appeal by the bucket load. It's £80 from ASOS, and I've promised myself I'm allowed it if I do all of my spreadsheets today. That's a good trade-off, right?

  1. Lovely! I'll never tire of florals, no matter what time of year it is. What's going on with those shoes though?

    1. I actually like how ridiculous the shoes are. BUT, I've learnt my lesson about wearing anything chiffon with a buckle shoe - they catch and ruin hemlines. While tripping you up.

  3. When you get it, promise you will run through meadows and poppy fields, with the dress fluttery behind you in the breeze?!

It's beautiful! And that is certainly a fair trade off!
