Oh my goodness. If you've got a love for all things china shaped and mis-matched then you're going to love Dormouse and the Teapot. Not only do they have a wonderfully cute moniker, but they take all of the hassle out of buying mixed-up tea sets.Mismatched China is wonderful stuff, but it's often not easy to... get it to match. Yes, that does defeat the object, but there is a knack to this. So go visit Dormouse and the Teapot and choose what colour you want - they'll do the rest for you. You can put your feet up and watch telly. Now that, sounds like a brilliant use of your time, don't you think?
Of course, if you want to hunt for your own mismatched stuff, there's a rather wonderful little shop on Columbia Road called Vintage Heaven that should do the trick. It even has a teensy tea room out back.
