Let there be light (and let it be pretty)

I really love John Lewis. I could spend hours mooching around in their lighting department alone.

And I really, really love this lamp. It's made of porcelain but looks like lace. It's pretty and sweet but in such a basic, blocky, straight-up-and-down shape that it makes quite a nice contrast, and it's not overwhelmingly girly. And look - it's in the loveliest shade of duck egg blue.
