Shop in the spotlight: Sage, inspired by Life.

Sage, inspired by Life. That shop name is horribly pretentious and nearly made me not look at the website. But you should! Because you'll find all sorts of classy homestuffs there. Like these:

These lanterns are just £8.95.

I'd love this recipe box to keep all of my magazine cuttings in.

And I really really want this giant connect four! Even if my garden isn't really big enough for it.

  2. The Sage real-world shop is just down the road from where I live in Bristol, and it's choc full of equally fabulous things as on their website - all so very tempting...shame they don't have any pics of their shop for you to see!

I'm pleased the shop is lovely, Annette. But it is a strange name, isn't it?

  4. Well, yes the name is pretty dodgy...but at the shop they don't use the inspired by life bit. I suspect they probably went naively along, thinking that they could buy any domain name they wanted when the time came to get online sorted, and then found they had to tack something onto the end of sage in order to find an available domain name...it's not quite what I would have chosen personally...but there you go.
