Domestic Sluttery readers, I am about to tell you about the best little tea room I have ever been to. I present to you the fabulous You Don't Bring Me Flowers. This wonderful little vintage shop/ tea room/ florist/ art gallery is hidden just by Hither Green station in South East London. Relax, people. It's one stop from Lewisham you won't get a nosebleed or anything.
Everything about this place is brilliant. From the little matching tea sets they serve the tea in (there's a choice of about twenty!) to the old fashioned goodies dotted around the shop that are all for sale. The flowers are lovely too, although they did make me sneezy.
And as if all this wasn't enough, the cakes are wonderful. There was more icing leaves on this one but I ate them before taking a photo. Om nom nom nom.
Best of all? A pot of tea is only £1.40. I think I'm going to move Domestic Sluttery HQ to You Don't Bring Me Flowers. Love it here.
How are you liking the book? I *loved* it. Get the tissues ready.
