Cocktail Hour: Rob Roy

This cocktail is great if you're a fan of the Manhattan. There's something grown up about it and it's probably best drunk in a grown up bar with lots of dark leather and mahogany. If you fancy something sweet, but don't want something as heavy as the Manhattan, this one will do just fine.

You'll need these things:

• 50ml Whiskey
• 25 ml Sweet vermouth
• Dash of bitters
• Rind of 1 lemon
• 2 maraschino cherries.

Then you'll need to do these things:

Coat the glass with the bitters. Sahke the rest of the ingredients in a glass with ice (the more you shake the more of a cherry taste you'll get). Strain and pour into a martini glass. Enjoy!
