There's no doubting that sometimes, waking up early in the morning is rubbish. More than rubbish. I'm NOT a morning person. But, if I got to see this pretty thing every time I opened my eyes then it might not be so bad. This pathwork alarm clock is from the unusually monikered Penelope Tom, and it's £18. A small price to pay considering they promise 'barley audible ticking'. Very important for the beauty sleep, that is.

I love that clock! I was all ready to hit 'buy' when I realised I recently had my bedroom re-decorated and while in my old room it would have looked perfect in the new one it just would stick out like a sore thumb. How disappointing. It may be a good gift for a friend however, so definitely in the maybe pile. Great find!
