Design Porn: Bridget Davies

Bridget Davies has such wonderful designs. Yes, I know every shop everywhere is adorning things with teapots and cupcake stands and other things of cuteness. But they don't look as good as these. Bridget Davies does it right. Cute, without being annoyingly twee. Luxurious, without costing a fortune. Adorable, without looking like something a six-year old would get for her birthday. In short: The perfect present, should you feel like buying me something.

I really want this passport holder. Much more interesting than the ones from Aspinal that I can't afford.

I wouldn't say no to this eye mask either. Which will come very handy on my jet setting flight with my passport holder.

OK, this might be the most expensive cushion I've ever written about, but don't you want to live in that house?!

  1. Oh, Siany! Why do you tempt me so? This cushion is amazing, but as you say, it's also very, very expensive. To buy or not to buy?!

  2. Then just buy the passport cover instead :-) think of the money you'll save!

  4. Love the passport holder! Sadly just found out though that not all passports are the same size. Recently bought a cute passport holder (UK sized), but won't fit either of my passports (Dutch + Australian). Never stopped to realize there would be an actual difference between countries; from "afar" they all look the same!

  5. Coming a bit late to the party here - I was very tempted by the passport holders until I realised they were silk. Not so durable I think!

The Aspinal ones are on sale though and actually cheaper than these ones now.

  6. Oh dear, not very durable :-(

In that case, I'll pop onto the Aspinal site and take a look! Thanks for the tip, Kate!
