Party with Jamie Oliver

Last week I had a Jamie Oliver party. Sadly we didn't all arrive on scooters, chatting away in our mockney accents and eating Italian nibbles, proclaiming everything to be pucker. No, you see the cheeky-chappy culinary entrepreneur has branched out into Jamie at Home, a modern day takes on the 70s Tupperware parties/80s Body Shop parties/90s Ann Summers parties (delete as appropriate depending on how old or how innocent (or not) you may be!).

As a 'host' you just need to get friends and family round and make up some nibbles ('Jamie' sends you some exclusive recipes), plus you get discounts, and if your guests spend a lot then you get free stuff too! It's a great way to have a really good night in with your mates and the stuff is actually really nice. Some of it is a little pricey but its good quality stuff and if you have £45 to spend on an oak antipasti display platter then this will be right up your street (I did try to find at least one justification but sadly fell short!). I am now the proud owner of some lovely storage jars though. Most importantly we had a really good night! Definitely one to recommend.
