Cocktail Hour: Chocolate Martini

Is there a better mix than chocolate AND booze? Not in my book. Of course, the chocolate martini isn't a drink you can have more than one of in an evening (you will be sick, trust me). But if you're looking for something sweet to kick off your evening you'll love this cocktail.

You'll need:

• 25ml vanilla vodka
• 15ml creme de cacao
• 15ml cream
• Chocolate Syrup
• Grated chocolate
  
• Cherry

Make it!

Start by coating the rim of a martini glass with grated chocolate. Drizzle the chocolate syrup into a martini glass. Shake the vodka and creme de cacao in a shaker over ice and pour into the glass. Top up with cream and garnish with the cherry.

If you're not a fan of cherries, just sprinkle some grated chocolate on top, or some chilli flakes if you feel like doing something more unusual. Fancy a mint chocolate one? Just add a few drops of peppermint essence to the vodka before you shake! It's a really simple recipe so adapt it however you want.
