Design Porn: Georgina Griffiths

The more I look at Georgina Griffiths' work, the more I like it. Fun, exciting glasswork that you can't help but admire. It's the kind of thing you have to go back and sneak another look at, just to double check that it's still as pretty as you remembered. These are very pretty indeed:

They look like boiled sweet, but obviously they're cufflinks.

This trio of vases is very pretty too.

And if you're looking for something other than glass, what about this collection of lightboxes?

You can look at Griffiths' work on her website, or buy from Hidden Art Shop. Maybe I'll buy some jewellery now, and save my money for the light boxes.

  1. I bought gorgeous bee cufflinks for my husband from her a couple of years ago - wonderfully odd without being pretentiously eccentric, and very chic. I love insect imagery in fashion and was sorry to see she doesn't do the bugs any more.

  2. Hi all,

It's so lovely to find your kind comments about my work - just thought I should let you know that I do still make bug-inspired work! You can view my most recent range of cufflinks, jewellery and vessels at www.notonthehighstreet.com!
