Katy Potts Tea for Two Vintage English China

We go together like… rama lama lama ke ding a de dinga a dong!

Or so the old Grease song goes. Sometimes the oddest things make the perfect match. Especially when you’re talking vintage home ware – just ask Katy Potts at Tea for Two. Her collection of authentic vintage English china (all made between 1920 and 1950 in the Staffordshire potteries) looks best a little mismatched. Due to the nature of the range, finding a complete set in the style you love isn’t always possible, but will certainly suit your random mix of friends when you next invite them round for a brew.

The collection covers my favourite tea-time related vessels – from delicate chintzy floral tea cups and pots to cake stands and exquisite butter dishes. Each comes wrapped in an elegant vintage-inspired hatbox that you’ll want to keep and reuse. And even better than that are the terribly English names given to all the pieces – from double-barrelled cake sets (Harriet Himkins-Hatt or Hilary Hopkins-Hope) to lady-like tea-pots (Miss Matilda and Miss Whilamena).

All that’s left to decide is which set to get…
