Cocktail Hour: Kir Royale

Aaaaah the Kir Royale. Probably the simplest cocktail there is, but also one of the most effective. Let's face it, was can't afford expensive bottles of bubbly all the time. Need to jazz up that cheap bottle of fizz? Simple, throw some creme de cassis in it! Hurrah! It turns the dullest bottle of cava into a lovely bubbly treat. You can try other things in place of the cassis, so be adventurous. Pomegranate always works well.

You'll need:
  • Champagne
  • 10ml Creme de cassis
Make it! Pour the cassis into a champagne flute, top up with champagne. That's it! See? I told you it was simple. Now all you have to do is concentrate on drinking.
