A hot water bottle really is the only sensible solution to a cold bed. Leaving the heating on overnight poses all kinds of problems and socks in bed is frankly too much sluttery even for us...

I do like that cable knit one - shame it only comes as part of a set as I have to say that the cushion looks like a not-so-good handmade attempt at using an old jumper!
