Home Office: Graham & Green Brass Desk

There's no getting away from the fact that desks are boring. Often made out of melamine, which is something I never ever want in my home if I can help it, I'm looking for something a little more unique. This beaten brass desk from Graham & Green is so sleek and sexy. When else are you going to get gold into your office? I imagine if you're a very tidy desk keeper, the gold might be too much. Luckily, my desk is the messiest place in my house. Organised chaos has finally paid off. This desk is wonderful. And £575. Considering it'll last me a lifetime and I'll use it every single day, that's a small price to pay for all those blog posts.

  1. Love it, trés glam.
My husband has been nagging and I have been resisting the dreaded desk purchase.
    No longer.

  4. That was a bit harsh. Apologies.
I think it's the gold and black setting they have it in. As you say, it needs some clutter on it so it's not too overpowering.

  5. Hehe! "Are you menopausal?" might be my favourite comment ever :-)

Not menopausal, promise. I really do like it. I appreciate it might not go in every room, but if a room was designed *around* it, it would look pretty great. To my it's no stranger than having one of those antique gold bed frames.

  6. Oops, glad you took that as it was meant. It read back harsher then it sounded when I first posted it.
Good point about the bed frames. They're very domineering but can look good in the right setting.
    :) x
