Ah, Iron Fist shoesies, how much do I love thee? Let me count the ways. You make high heels and ballet flats emblazoned with green drooling zombies, anchors, leopard print, cupcakes and skulls. And as anyone who reads my Domestic Sluttery posts will know, these are a few of my favourite things.
So, predictably, I love these rockabilly 'Oh No' platforms. The popping turquoise, yellow and pink print means they'd be perfect for teaming with black skinny jeans, whilst the combination of the feminine peeptoe style with the rock'n'roll tattoo print of eyeballs and tentacles makes them an edgy talking point. And the concealed platform means their less skyscraper-high than they look to the untrained eye, so I'm less likely to fall on my face after a cocktail. Best of all, they're only £55, from Office.

I have a collection of Iron Fist shoes and these are just a little too yellow for me.
ReplyDeleteHave a look at their 'Ruby Slippers' though, they are my current fave pair.
Noooooo! Do. Not. Like.
ReplyDeleteOn the plus side, we're unlikely to try and steal each other's shoes.
Eyeballs? Seriously? No thank you. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, but I love because they put eyeballs on their shoes. Not many other brands doing that so I think they're very brave and intriguing.
ReplyDeleteKelStar, how are they for walking in? Are they comfy or more for posing than anything practical? And how hard-wearing are they? Been desperate to get some for ages but keep putting it off until I get some feedback from someone who owns some!
Sorry Sian, but Iron fist are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI guess not for everyone... you defo need to have some kind of regrettable goth/emo past that you want to relive in a more glamorous way though!
The flats are equally as cool. Have you seen the ones with the monster fangs and all the blood? Immense :D
I have a regrettable goth/emo past. I do! But eyeballs are not for shoes. My feet are happy without monster fangs and blood :-)
ReplyDeleteI love them!! That's the old punk me coming out to play I think ;)
ReplyDeleteI love them toooo yay eyeballs! My friend has the zombie ones and they look awesome!
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm so glad I'm not alone on this one, thanks ladies! Anyone able to report how they hold up on the comfort front before I splash out?
ReplyDeleteLove love love.
ReplyDeleteI've got the day of the dead ones. They kill my feet though so I only ever put them on for short spaces of time :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Jane, I've currently got 4 pairs and plan on owning many more. I rarely wear heels and I find them dead comfy. Once you get one pair you like they all fit the same so it makes internet shopping very easy! I'd recommend them to anyone!
ReplyDeleteI have about 3 pairs of shoes from Iron fist so far and i just LOVE them! They are very comfortable but beware they are made big. I am normally a size 8 but i have to buy these in a size 7.
ReplyDeleteI tried these on the other day and normally I'm a 7 to 7.5 US. But the style I tried was a bootie, and a size 8 fit me snug and just right.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing maybe the peep toe shoes or ones that are slingbacks fit true to size.
