Remember the French Bedroom Company's Ghostie Table, which we showed you last summer? Handmade from acrylic, each one gives the optical illusion of a tablecloth draped over a spookily invisible round bedside table. Back then it was only available in ethereal translucent tones, giving it a look that was just the right side of whimsical fairytale.
Now, it's back in black, and as much as I loved the original design, I'm not sure if it works as well in this new incarnation. Usually I'm a sucker for black. It's bold and dramatic, and it does make a statement, especially if it's used in a monochrome design scheme.
What do you think? The wrong side of Dungeon-y, or elegant and original? It's £195, so I reckon you'll have to really really like it (and have the kind of decor it'll match - and that won't be easy).
It'll make a statement, that's for sure.
