Quilted style for your home and office at the V&A
Nothing makes a home look cosy quite like a bit of quilting - even when it's not, in fact, a real quilt but just a convincingly printed effect!
To supplement its wonderful Quilts exhibition (which runs until 4th July, so there's still time if you haven't made it along yet), the V&A is selling a variety of items in its shop, all decorated with quilt print or patchwork fabrics. We love the limited edition stool, in particular, whose design was adapted from a patchwork coverlet of printed cotton and linen. The same print is used on the cover of this 2011 pocket diary.
For the stationery-lovers among us, there's plenty more to be coveted, including a patchwork sticky-notes set (top right) along with more diaries and pens in various fabric prints. And since no museum visit would be complete without a commemorative mug, we're also loving this quilts teacup made from bone china.
