Cocktail Hour: Mudslide

Despite liking a nice piece of cake, and currently having a massive craving for a piece of Victoria sponge, I don't really have a sweet tooth. I'd much rather have some savoury goodies. But recently, my sweet tooth has been a little out of control. So I've decided to make a mudslide cocktail. Mmmmm, sticky gooey yumminess. It's basically a drunken milkshake, isn't it? You make your own.

You'll need:
  • 50ml Baileys
  • 25ml Tia Maria
  • Chocolate milkshake! (Yes, I'm using Yazoo. As you should too, it's the yummiest).
Shake it!

Mix the booze together in a cocktail shaker over ice. Add the chocolate milkshake and shake it all up. Strain into a long glass and sprinkle some chocolate on top. This drink is probably best served in a cushion fort in your living room.

  1. May I suggest using real ice cream instead of a commercial milkshake mix?

  3. This reminds me horribly of six or seven years ago when they invented a Mudslide-like alcopop and I in my teenage foolhardiness had a few too many and threw up after doing karaoke at a Yates's bar. The memory does put one off a bit. :(

  4. The cocktail of my fresher days was malibu, a splash of grenadine and strawberry yazoo (it was called something like a pink pugsley :S) so I am looking forward to tasting this one!
