Finally, a pair of shoes fit for my inner vaudevillian... or perhaps just an episode of Ru Paul's Dragulate (don't forget to thank me afters, TV fans).
Much like Paloma Faith on a particularly important date, these Office shoes aren't subtle. Platform AND glitter AND pom-pom? Yes please. Pass me the weave, Ru, we're going to town.
No no no - they look like something Coco the Clown would wear if he was in drag as well! Just wrong on so many levels!
ReplyDeleteI kinda hate them...
ReplyDeleteBUT, knowing Sarah, I can see her rocking these and looking awesome.
I love them.
ReplyDeleteAnd not just because Sian hates them.
Promise.
I'm not entirely convinced about the shoes, but Dragulate looks AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived in a world in which it would be OK to wear them while going about my daily business... like to work or something... sigh.

Amazing! Completely over the top and unnecassary but that's half of the fun!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh thanks Siany! I kind of love the vulgar grossness of these - I'm probably too old for sparkles on me face (remember glitter cheeks gels in the 90's? SWOON) but my feet can still carry off sparkles.
ReplyDeleteMiss Cay - if you love Dragulate, check out Drag U. It's where they get some downtrodden women, allow the drags off Dragulate to make them into queenies, then pitch them against each other to fight it out to graduate Drag University! Man, it sounds so awesome, I might even go and watch some RIGHT NOW
