Design Porn: Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair

If you love beautiful handmade things then you really won't want to miss the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair this weekend. It will be jammed packed with over 150 handpicked stalls with fantastically unique and high quality offerings from the quirky to the traditional. Here is a little roundup of some of my very favourite exhibitors this year.

Lets start with &Made - how adorable are these cactus pincushions!
Kitty and Dude will be showing their quirky range of ceramics inspired by the 1950's.

I'm not sure I could resist one of these beautiful handmade vintage inspired handbags from Monica Boxley

This glassware from Sanders and Wallace is quite simply divine

There are so many more wonderful things that I could be here all day, so to be on the safe side you should probably just pop along yourself! I am truly gutted that my stupid broken ankle will prevent me from going along this year. Although I suspect that my purse, and my husband, may be breathing a sigh of relief!

The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair is held in Spinningfields, off Deansgate in the heart of Manchester and is open to the public from Friday 22nd October to Sunday 24th October. Single tickets cost £6/£5 concessions and children under 16 go free. For full details and to check out the full list of exhibitors then head on over to the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair website.
