Design Porn: Re-Vinyl Clocks

I spotted these vinyl clocks on Design Sponge, who share my usual hatred of anything made from old records. They remind me of wonky bowls made of melted records sold at dodgy stalls in Camden Market. But these cut-record clocks from Pavel Sidorenko are pretty, playful and practical too. They're laser cut which allows for incredibly detailed designs - check out King Kong above. I never thought I'd say this about a clock, but there's a real sense of atmosphere to every scene.

This crooked house might be too spooky to keep in the bedroom. I can see myself imagining all sorts emerging from the shadows.

There's something so vividly autumnal about this one. Love how the woman's foot is kicking out, and the animals by their feet.

Have a browse through the whole range on Pavel's website, all priced at at €37 (about £32). They're rather reminiscent of Domestic Slut favourite Rob Ryan, no?
