A beautiful 15th century coaching inn that took four years to transform into the Crazy Bear Hotel in Beaconsfield. And transform it they have, it's so fabulous it hurts to look at it.
Isn't it pretty? There isn't an inch in this place that hasn't had some grandeur thrown at it. Look at that bath!
This is basically the bedroom of my dreams. Now I want to throw black lacquer on all of my floorboards.
Everything about this bar screams glamour. I'm smitten. It's not cheap here, a room will set you back over £300 a night if you're not a member, but they have late availability deals from as little as £200 a night. Perfect for whisking someone away one evening*.
*I am available for whisking. Thank you in advance.
Just.. Scraping.. Jaw.. Off.. Floor.... So beautiful I may die...
ReplyDeleteOH. MY. GOSH. I need to go here, right now. Scrap that, I need to LIVE HERE. This has made it just in time to make my mid-week links. I must spread the beauty!
ReplyDeleteHoly s**t I need to live here. Sorry for the language but OMG.
ReplyDeleteThey have a member's club in London too, it's swanky but you're allowed in before 11 if you're not a member:

I must be the only person, but I don't really like the room! I find it a bit scary. I like the bar though...
ReplyDeleteI'm dying here! Talk about OTT but loving it!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Too pricey for me but was lucky enough to go for dinner, they do a 3 course Sunday lunch even those of us on a budget can afford :-)
ReplyDeleteIve been to the one in beaconsfield 3 times and stayed in both rooms and the bathrooms are to die for. Mirrored walls. This place is the ultimate in luxury and opulence true old school glamour. great for one night with a loved one.
