Cute or Creepy: Amor Heart Vase

Let me put my cards on the table: I think this anatomical heart vase is so beautiful. I'm a sucker for all things literal when it comes to hearts. This is so much more striking that the cutesy image you might find a teddybear holding in Clintons. Of course, it's not a design that you should go to town with in your home, but with one interesting piece, it works.

It's from Lifestylebazaar and it's in a limited edition of 100. Half have 22k gold gilding and the other half is platinum with red detailing. I much prefer the gold one (rare for me). Each vase has 'Amor Vincit Omnia' stamped on it, which means 'love conquers all'. It's so special. I'd LOVE to put some flowers in this. Just to balance out the showiness, I'd probably go for some pink carnations. But first I have to find the £95 to buy it. I know it won't be to everyone's taste, but I heart it so.
