Cocktail Hour: Between the Sheets

Aaaah, 80s cocktails. There's something hilarious wonderfully predictable about cocktail names of yesteryear. How funny to make slightly drunk women ask for a long hard screw up against the bathroom wall. Or sex on the beach with a syphilis shooter. Yes, well done, you're very funny.

More frustratingly is that sometimes, the cocktails actually taste good. Between the Sheets is a perfect example of this. I really like this fruity but wintery cocktail, I just don't like ordering things with such stupid names. I'm not a teenager anymore, it's not the funniest thing in the world and I (probably) haven't drunk three bottles of Lambrini. So here's a recipe so you can make your own.

You'll need:

• 25ml brandy
• 25ml white rum
• 25ml triple sec
• 25ml lemon juice

Shake it!

Shake the ingredients well with some ice, strain into a cocktail glass and drink between the sheets. The name might make for some silly innuendo, but lazy cocktail excuses are something I approve of.
