Design Porn: Starck Masters Chair

I don't usually get excited about Philippe Starck designs. Some pieces in the Kartell range grab my attention, but if I see one more ghost chair, I might fall asleep at my desk. I guess that's what happens when classic designs become popular. They get old and something new comes along to take its place.

For me, that something new is the Kartell Masters Chair. I haven't seen a chair this sexy in a long time. Inspired by three design classics, and turned into one beautiful piece of furniture. This isn't just a standard dining room chair, it's a centrepiece in itself. It comes in an array of colours, but the black is working for me.
