Cute or Creepy: Jeffrey Campbell's Bus Stop Brogue Heels

Oh, Jeffrey Campbell. I like you, but you confuse me. Or rather your shoes, like these completely cray-cray two-part broguette heels, do.

I'd probably never wear them, as I have a strange aversion to a) ankle straps (make your legs look fat) and b) wearing heels that actually might kill me. Yet I'm strangely drawn to their weird beauty, if only for their futuristic two-part-ness. If the shoes were too big, would your foot fall down the middle?!

What do you think, Sluts, cute or creepy?

  1. All I can see when I look at them is my ankle breaking. I can't stop staring at them though.

  5. As I scrolled up the page I saw the heel first, and not knowing what the post was about, I thought it was some sort of toilet. That's a first impression that's hard to get over...

  6. I feel like I'm weirdly drawn to them as well! They can't be very comfortable... Fashion towers over function here!

OMG, they're even more hazardous looking than the Irregular Choice cutaway wedges which I've been lusting after for ages:

Though not quite as alien as the Antonia Berardi or Noritaka Tatehana heel-less platforms

  10. Weirdly, they're the only Irregular Choice shoes that I've ever liked.

  17. These are just mesmerising! Yes, they'd hurt A LOT but, as everyone's said, you just can't stop looking at them!

I'm pretty glad (for both red bank balance and ankles' sakes) that Man of Interest is only 3 inches taller than me. Bye bye ridiculous heels (for now)...
