Inspired by Siany's recent post on
Frank's Campari Bar, I thought I'd share my fave bitters-based cocktail of the moment, the Aperol Spritz.
Aperol's a bit like Campari, in fact they're made by the same company. It's a brash orange coloured Italian aperitif made from a secret recipe based on bitter orange, rhubarb and gentian. And it's all kinds of awesome.
Aperol Spritz You'll need:
- 1 1/2 shots Aperol
- 1 1/2 shots Prosecco (or other fizz)
- Top up with soda
Shake it!
- Pour ingredients into a glass filled with ice and stir gently
- Serve with a twist of orange zest if you're feeling fancy
