Liberty have joined up with Nike to launch a range of trainers with prints created by children’s illustrators. Read that sentence again. It sounds like a hallucination, yes?
I have no words. Bring on the shoes.

Mauvey Print Blazer Mid Premium Shoes, £75
Hmmmmmmm...
ReplyDeleteI only begrudgingly wear trainers for when I'm running/at the gym. Presumably these aren't really for running...and I'm not going to wear trainers unless I have to, even if they're flowery!
Not impressed!
ReplyDeleteI love these - who says trainers have to be ugly?
ReplyDeleteOh nobody says trainers have to be ugly! I just find it incredibly confusing that someone appears to have based an entire range of expensive shoes on the inside of a puffa jacket that my friend Joanna owned in 1991.
ReplyDeleteI think the first three are hideous and weird and make my head spin. The last pair make me feel queasy but I can't stop looking at them. I think I need to step away from the website.
ReplyDeleteI have some brilliant trainers. I love trainers. I'm not sure I could ever love these.
I like the Eb's print high skinny dunks and have added them to my birthday/christmas list, I just like that pattern and the colours aren't too in your face. The others? Think they're not my bag, the first and last pair are particularly icky.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmm no to flouncy now if they were in retro vinatge 60's and 70's fabric oh yes bring them on haha TX
ReplyDeleteHaha, I actually like the last pair!
ReplyDeletei really love the top pair!
ReplyDeleteIt's just such a weird idea - why? They are okay but can't really see who they are hoping will buy them. The original Liberty prints are so lovely, why not just stick to them?
ReplyDeleteI really like them... I think they'd be great with a floral dress, however lily allen-esque that may be...
ReplyDeleteOnly thing that confuses me is why they are launching them now, A/W.. they look much more like S/S shoes to me. I'd be worried about wearing them in the rain!
I actually love the first ones. The rest make me think of things people wore on episodes of Fun House. :(
