Sites we love: Book by its cover

I've never really bought the idea that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover - I wonder how long it would have taken me to read The Poisonwood Bible had I not been drawn to the cover. We're always hunting for the prettiest book covers. And it appears the Book by its Cover are as well.

The clever folk behind the site spend their time nosing in pretty books. All sorts of books where the emphasis is very much on their prettiness. Their fine art section is packed full of beautiful finds.

Want to see some pretty handmade tomes? They've got those.

See? Pretty! I really like the children's book section. They always have the best stories. Who wouldn't want to read Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed?

Their sketchbook section is absolutely divine. I want to get lost in them all. Especially these gorgeous specimens by Mattias Adolfsson.

The website was created by amazing designer Julia Rothman and assisted by Leah Goren. There's so much more to discover and it's a site you can get lost in for hours. Which is exactly what I'll be doing today.
