Snowden Flood Sale

Despite writing about gorgeous and sexy design all day, I only buy a few pieces for myself. Otherwise I'd have no money to pay my bills and a house (even more) full of stuff. But I've always loved Snowden Flood's work, and noticed these very cool urban plates in the sale.

Even in the sale at £12 a pop, they're not cheap. But we have no pretty plates in Sluttery HQ and it's about time I treated myself. I promise I'll only ever put tasty things on them. These are definitely not the plates for cauliflower.

There are three designs in the sale at the moment, making way for new designs. I've snapped up all three - wires, pylons and phonelines.

Yep, there are only three. Quite a silly number for dinner plates, isn't it? But I can see me picking up more of Snowden Flood's designs - just a new design here and there when something catches my eye. I've already got my eye on this one. And this one. And this one too. Pricey they might be, but they're classic and timeless and that's worth paying a little extra for.

  1. Cauliflower is very tasty with a chilli bean sauce and a tiny bit of grated cheese... perfectly decent use of your lovely new plates!

  2. See, I think that it's chilli bean sauce and grated cheese that's tasty.

  3. I like that there's only three. When I have dinner parties I could say "Oh well, we don't have enough of these ones, we'll have to use the boring plates, sorry". And keep the fancy ones for MEEEE.

  4. Hehe! That's true, Claire. My favourite is the pylons one - you can bet that no one else gets a go with that one. Not happening.

But I still like the potential to buy more - all of the Snowden Flood landscape plates seem to fit together, even though they're from different ranges. And cups. I might need some cups.

  5. I like the idea of these being the basis for the eventual collection you will build up over the years. I think that is just lovely (as are the plates)

  6. And before you know it, my dining room will look like the Snowden Flood showroom.

  8. Oooh exciting! I am nearby so will pop in soon, I promise. Don't let me buy more plates, though.
