Wallpaper Wednesday: Beware The Moon Ostriches

I think my mild flirtation obsession with wallpaper has a lot to do with the potential for instant change. Last week I was all over flamingoes and their quirky habit of standing on one skinny pink leg. Perfect wallpaper design. But if I suddenly changed my mind, I might decide that I wanted my walls adorned with ostriches. I quite like their quirky habit of sticking their head in the ground.

The wallpaper from beware the moon is everything I like about wall covering design. I'm more than happy with just a nod to the unusual. Statement papers are lovely to look at, but if you've got a whole room that needs doing then the design needs to fit in with your current style.

The muted colours of the ostriches work really well against the background (less so in the orange version). It's fun, without you suddenly being known as the mad girl with the mad wallpaper. The colourways are from Rockett St. George and £63 from Beware The Moon. They say they're taking over the world one downstairs loo at a time. I say they're going about it the right way.
