Sluttishly Organised: Recipe Boxes

If you read food magazines while clutching a pair of scissors, print off pages from your favourite foodie blogs, and scribble down half-remembered recipes on scraps of paper, then it's probably high time you got organised. Chances are that you've thrown them all into a drawer, making the chances of finding a treasured recipe slim to nil.

You need a better system than paperclips and a vague nod to alphabetical order. What better than a beautiful recipe box? Let's all admit that we're never going to make our own and have a look at what's on offer.

This gorgeous wooden box is available from 1canoe2's Etsy shop for £29.46. It's a little pricey but would last forever, and you'd definitely do your best handwriting in it. It comes with 42 recipe cards and you can buy more when you've filled those up.

If you're an Emma Bridgewater fan, this heart patterned box will sit pretty next to your toaster. It's £14.99 from Mollie and Fred.

At just £6.95, this retro-styled box from dotcomgiftshop is cheap and very very cheerful. "The best meals are home cooked!", it proclaims, which is generally true, but there's space for a few pizza menus for when you simply can't be bothered too.
