You know the mug on the shelf you avoid. The one with the inconveniently placed chip. The one that's a little too small for your morning cuppa. That one that hides at the back of the shelf just because it's plain ugly, but you'll give it to the guy fixing the boiler if you've left a stash on your dressing table and they need washing up.
I 'm saying down with crap mugs! My morning cuppa is too vital to be ruined. So I'm investing in some from Cole of London instead.
I love the bloomin' handles off this Henry VIII wives set. There are even facts and dates! Nothing better than facts AND tea in your face.
Or you can go for a whole collection of Tudors instead. Love the Elizabeth one. Always been a fan of her hair.
The sets are in the sale at £45 for six, but if you want an individual mug like this Shakespeare one (and I really do), then it's £10. You can also buy any bunch of four for £35 so you have no reason at all to have crap mugs in 2012.
I am going to have to stop reading DS in January because there are too many things that I want when I have no money! Really love the wives mugs.
