A friend of mine kept tweeting and Facebooking about her KeepCup - how convenient it was, how easy to use on the go, how it was environmentally-friendly and avoided waste. "It's nice that she's so open minded about her lady cycle," I thought, "but does she need to talk about it quite so much?" It was only when she said it kept her coffee warm for ever so long that I realised it wasn't a MoonCup.
The idea is simple: it's just a plastic cup. The novelty is that it comes in standard barista sizes, meaning you can hand it over at your favourite coffee shop instead of using a disposable cup. The fitted lid means your soya-mochaccino-latte / builder's tea will stay warm for longer too. And this is a cute touch: drink choices are embossed on the silicone band running around the outside, meaning you can tick your preference with a permanent marker.
The real fun comes with designing your own KeepCup though. Go to the online store, pick a size and then customise the colours. Prices range from £6.80 for an extra-small to £8.80 for a large cup, plus shipping.

DeleteHmm. Not as sexy as my Contigo Aquaseal thermal mug, but a lot cheaper. The Aquaseal means no drips down your front when you drink. And it gives a satisfying little "ahh" every time you press the button to drink.
