The Knitted Calendar
January is often marked by new calendars, diaries with empty pages and lots of shiny and new things. As much as I'm a fan of the fresh feeling of a new year and stationery, I'm also a slave to Google and can't cope with a written diary and calendar any more. I live with three inboxes open, I need my calendar in front of me on my screen.
But I do love beautiful calendars, and this one is one of the best I've seen and it's £75 from the V&A shop (pricey I know, but look at it). It's a knitted scarf calendar and a super long one at that. It comes with a wooden hanger so you can hang it on a wall, but I actually want to wear it. It's the prettiest calendar I've seen this year.
You forgot to mention that you pull the yarn to unravel the days as they approach!!!!!
ReplyDeleteREALLY?! The V&A really should be clearer about that. I thought it might be the case but didn't want to say until I was 100% certain. What a pretty thing. Would love to see them make (cheaper) ones for Advent.
ReplyDeleteSorry for saying Advent in January.
Oh this would look very good in my kitchen!
