The Bra Converter

Despite my love for sexy lingerie, this is probably the least sexy thing I've written about on Domestic Sluttery. Yet a bra converter was one of the best purchases I ever made. Frances and Sara were discussing low back dresses this morning and this is the answer. Frankly, it's a feat of engineering.

It's not sexy in the slightest, is it? But look at what it does to the back of your bra...

See?! Suddenly those sexy backless dresses are sorted. Your bra is still comfortable as the converter just clips onto your bra strap hooks. You do need to be wearing a bra that fits well - anything slightly too big will shift about - but otherwise you won't know it's there. That said, taking it off isn't all that sexy - it's perhaps best worn when you want to look fabulous, but probably aren't going to get lucky.

If you'd rather not go braless with a difficult dress, you need one of these. You can buy them from Debenhams for a rather teeny six pounds. You can't even get a coffee and a magazine for six quid these days.
