Shop in the Spotlight: Bath Time Treats from Abahna

The rain has come back with a vengeance and it's making me grumpy.

So, I've been hunting high and low for something sensual and soapy to put in my bath as an after-work treat seeing as the pub gardens aren't all that appealing right now.

Finding Abahna has put a smile back on my face. "A daily bathing routing is one of life's simplest luxuries" says co-creator Claire Croft, and the Abahna range looks appealing with a capital A. So: Appealing, then. Anyway.

They do a variety of sweet-smelling products, from candles to eau de parfum, but what really excites me is their bath oil.

This frangipani and orange blossom bath foam ticks all my boxes - a sweet and luxurious scent that also smooths and soothes the skin. It's £20, but there's free standard UK delivery which is pretty special if you ask me.

Their White Grapefruit and May Chang bath oil is a bestseller, and I can imagine why: that rich, relaxing scent and pretty bottle will help me unwind with style. It, too, is £20.

What I'm really tempted by is their sale item: the foam blending set is £20 down from £40. Two of the signature bath fragrances plus some unscented foam, and here's the cute bit: a ceramic bowl and coconut and mother of pearl spoon to blend them with. The perfect gift from me to me for putting up with all these grey skys.

If the weather stays like this, I'm going to need to seriously stockpile my bath treats. I am a girl in need of recommendations - so it's over to you guys to tell me all your bath time essential items in the comments or on our Twitter and Facebook pages...

  1. My mum gave me the frangipan scented candle and soap as stocking fillers for Christmas. They were lovely.

My favourite bubble bath for this weather is Molton Browns warming Eucalyptus. It's so comforting.
