Design Porn: Lok Ming Fung

Lok Ming Fung's ceramics make me go 'ooooh'. Good design always does. Handy then, that she has her very own 'Oohhh' range. The range of boxes have little limpets and barnacles on them. Turns out I quite like a barnacle.

The boxes actually hide little secrets instead. It's not just a standard bow, they're based on Japanese Inro boxes, so they've got a second tier in them. Barnacle surprise!

And if you're not in the market for a box, you can always opt for a barnacle necklace. Lok uses a slip method for her ceramics, which look gorgeous in either the matt or gloss finishes. She graduated from St Martin's college in 2007. That's where I, caught her eye.

Prices start at £35 for the brooches and go up to £110 for the barnacle boxes and you can buy the range from her online shop. Who knew that barnacles and limpets could be so pretty?

Oohhh, indeed.

    1. Oh no! Sorry B.

I have a fear of very small scale things - there is absolutely no dolls' house furniture stuff on this website. I'd have to go and sit in another room until it was off the homepage.
