After our road trip inspired newsletter yesterday, I remembered the wonderful We Are Dorothy Song Map. I was all set for buying it, AND THEN. I spotted We Are Dorothy's new film map. I'm so unbelievably torn. As much as I loved the song map (with its House of Fun nestled on one of the streets), I don't think I can resist a map that has Jurassic Park and Diagon Alley on it.
What else is on the map? Field of Dreams is there, Valley of the Dolls and Sunset Boulevard. It's based loosely on old LA maps and there's even a red light district.
The maps vary in price - there's a signed and limited-edition litho print for £100, or you can buy the film map poster for £25. The posters are such good value that I might not have to choose after all.
This is genius! The boyf and I really want to fill a room with maps one day....these would be awesome because they look so normal from a distance and then so clever and different from close up!
