Join the Just Desserts Club!

Pudding is one of those things that just makes life better. Especially if you decide to forego your vegetables and by some stroke of luck you're still allowed some. We really like sharing our pudding recipes (a little more than we actually like sharing our puddings) so we've decided to start a dessert club!

So how does this work? Simple, promise.
  • Every other month, we'll announce a different pudding theme and we'll share an awesome pudding recipe with you.
  • If you want to get involved, you make your pudding and blog the recipe and photos, linking back to us  and mentioning the pudding club.
  • You can either email us to tell us about your recipe, leave us a link in the comments below or use the Twitter hashtag #JustDesserts so we can find it (we may miss them on Facebook). We'll try any retweet any mentions throughout the month so people can see what you're up to.
  • Then we'll do a round up of all of your amazing recipes and link to them all so readers and other pudding club members can try them out for themselves.
That's it! Lots of lovely desserts for everyone! We insist you have friends over for pudding nights and get them to try your creations.

This month's theme is, somewhat predictably, chocolate. You can let your imagination go nuts with this - maybe a souffle! Or a mousse thingy! Or a chocolate fondant pudding (this is what we call souffle when we bugger it up). You can go in any direction you like as long as it's puddingy. Hazel is going to tell you how to make that fabulous chocolatey thing in the photo this afternoon. You've got until noon on August 6th to send us your pudding club links for the round up, and then we'll get sharing. You don't have to do just one - you could create a new chocolate pudding every other day if you felt like it. Actually, please do that. You'd be our heroes.

Have fun, everyone!

  1. My friends and I once had a Pudding Party, whereby we had to see how many puddings you could eat throughout the evening. It was amazing and I highly recommend the idea!

    1. I'm really hoping that Pudding Club goes offline and everyone has little pudding parties.

  2. So we can either make our own recipe or use yours? Yum!

    1. You can do whatever you like, we're not the pudding police! Hazel's recipe is pretty simple to adapt if you fancied playing around with it.

    2. I love the idea of the pudding police though. Chasing people about with wooden spoons and such shenanigans.

  3. I am all about this. Well done ladies. Especially on a day as dismal as today!
