Vintage Finds: Love Miss Daisy Boat Dress

I could not have fallen any harder for this vintage boat dress. I want it! I want to run off to the French Riveria in a massive pair of sunglasses and swan about in a marina. The very best dresses make me want to go on holiday.

It popped up on the Love Miss Daisy Facebook page and I don't think I've ever clicked on a link so quickly (well, except for that Benedict Cumberbatch gif). As is the way with vintage pieces, sometimes you luck out and that beautiful dress fits you perfectly, sometimes it's just not your lucky day. Vintage gods are fickle.

This dress is a size 16 so I'm out of luck, but I'm willing one of you with £75 to spend to run over to Love Miss Daisy and buy this before it goes to someone else with French Riviera dreams. You know the vintage rules: don't wait around, someone else will get lucky if you're dither about. This is not the dress for dithering over.

    1. I know. I've never looked at a man taking his scarf off and thought 'wow, that's hot'.
